A pedestrian in her 60s has suffered a serious head injury following a crash outside the Red Lion pub near Welwyn.
The incident involving a grey Honda took place at around 3.15pm on Thursday (March 21) in Digswell Hill.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, and Hertfordshire police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
PC Kyle Whitelaw said: "We’ve spoken to the people involved, however, there were no direct witnesses at the scene.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
"Similarly, if you were in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it and get in touch if you can help.
