Officers visited a Hatfield care home to give residents valuable crime prevention advice.

Members of the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team paid a visit to Greenacres care home in Wellfield Close on Thursday, September 28.

PCSOs Shannon Payne and Emma Carson attended the coffee morning to give residents a chance to speak about any concerns and gain crime prevention advice.

PCSO Payne said: “We had a lovely morning chatting to residents.

We shared crime prevention advice around matters that tend to affect older people such as scams.

“We also explained lots about our role and how we are here to help them.

"The residents enjoyed listening to what our job is like and it was a pleasure to spend time with them."

PCSO Payne added: “As PCSOs on the Safer Neighbourhood Team, we’re responsible for listening to and helping all people across the community. I’d like to thank Greenacres for inviting us along.”
