Hertfordshire police will be offering crime prevention advice and free bike marking during an event in Hatfield.
The event will take place between 11am and 1pm on Tuesday, March 7, at St Michael’s Church, in Birchwood Avenue.

Officers will be attending for a second event on April 18.
PC Darren Turner said: “We are looking forward to meeting residents at these events and if people find them useful, we plan to attend once a month.
“I’d like to remind residents that bike-marking is a really simple way of preventing bike thefts.
"If you ride a bike, do come along to one of these events and get it security marked. It takes just minutes and will give you peace of mind.

“We’ll also be giving residents advice to protect themselves from various types of crime.
“If there is something you would like to speak to us about, please come along so we that we can talk it through and help you.”
A warm space is hosted at the church every Tuesday, from 10am until 1pm.
Tea and coffee is provided, along with "a warm and safe environment where they (locals) can gather to socialise".
