The return of Tewin Seniors’ Lunch proved a huge success, with more than 100 residents enjoying prosecco, wine and a two-course meal.

Held at Tewin Memorial Hall on February 15, the event was back for the first time since 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic.

As well as the food and drinks, a quiz was held and the Tewin Ukulele Group performed the crowds.

"It was lovely to be able to gather so many people together again and hear all the chatter," said a spokesperson the Friends of Tewin Committee, who organised the event.

"We were fortunate to have received a grant from the Community Development Festive Funding Committee and a donation from Tewin Parish Council for which we would like to extend our grateful thanks.

"We must also thank our army of helpers on the day, without whom we couldn’t have coped."
