During the ceremony, the King will be crowned alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort.

Recognising the social and community benefits of celebrating this event, the county council has decided to waive the usual road closure fees in hope of encouraging as many people as possible to take up the opportunity to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Cllr Richard Roberts, leader of Hertfordshire County Council said: “For most of us the coronation of King Charles III will be the first coronation that has taken place in our lifetimes, and I know people across Hertfordshire will want to join in with the celebration of this historic event.
