A festive sensory experience to stimulate the senses for children and babies with the help of lights is coming to Potters Bar.
Posiquisitive Children is a childcare service that aims to enhance the development of children as well as create awe and wonder.
The Light Festival will be held for babies up to the age of two years old on Mondays at the Northaw Village Hall from 10am to 10.50am.

Andrea Sofroniou, owner of Posiquisitive Children, said: “I have sessions in Potters Bar and Cheshunt and also encourage pre-school children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) as there is very little around to support these children and parents.”
She added: “I have over 20 years experience working with children in a range of capacities from nursery manager, teacher, foster carer, parent and author. Within my roles, I have been fortunate enough to work with children at all levels from babies to Key Stage 4.”
Autism Parenting Magazine stated: “Children’s moods are strongly affected by lighting: for some it provides a calming, soothing effect and for others, it acts as a stimulant.”
