Two people were injured following a crash in North Mymms in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the fire service rescuing a person who was trapped inside the vehicle.

Emergency services were called to Warrengate Road at around 12.40am to reports of a collision.

On arrival, one person was found to be trapped in a vehicle, with crews using trauma gear to rescue them before leaving two injured people with the East England Ambulance Service.

“At 00:49 @HertsFRSControl mobilised @fire_PottersBar @BorehamwoodFire to a road traffic collision on Warrengate Road, North Mymms,” read a Herts Fire Control tweet.

“One person trapped by injuries. Stabilisation and glass management in use. Trauma gear in use; two casualties left in the care of @EastEnglandAmb.”
