DANCERS from across the region have come together to present a new dramatic production of Giselle.

The English Youth Ballet, led by six professional dancers, has cast 100 young ballet students for this showstopper.

Set on an English country estate, the ballet tells the dramatic love tale about a young girl who is betrayed by an already engaged prince.

Senior choreographer Dominic Marshall leads the dancers, who were picked in November and have rehearsed at every given opportunity, for this spectacle.

With enchantingly sumptuous costumes, pretty scenery and spectacular dancing, the production brings Giselle into this century with warm, colour and drama.

The show starts on Monday at the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage, and lasts until Wednesday (March 5).

Performances are at 7.45pm, with a matinee on Wednesday at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost between £15 and £17.
