BURLESQUE is back in vogue thanks to the efforts of singer-turned-actress Christina Aguilera on screen and stripper Dita Von Teese in the saucy new Renault Clio Va Va Voom advert alongside former Arsenal footballer Thierry Henry.
And you could win tickets to see a burlesque show in Potters Bar thanks to the Welwyn Hatfield Times.
NAUGHTY but nice is one way of describing sassy show An Evening of Burlesque.
Direct from London’s West End, tantalising yet tasteful, camp and colourful, the fascinating art form of burlesque arrives at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar on Saturday, February 19.
And the Welwyn Hatfield Times has teamed up with the producers of this production to give away two pairs of tickets to see the show at the Darkes Lane venue.
You might have seen the movie Burlesque featuring Christina Aguilera and Nicole Kidman in the award-winning musical film Moulin Rouge.
An Evening of Burlesque is a new theatre production that recreates the tradition of burlesque, giving it a modern-day twist.
“The show brings variety back to the theatre, combining comedy, magic and vocal harmony with couture costumes, breathtaking choreography and a fabulous score,” said show producer Michael Taylor.
To be in with a chance of winning tickets to the show, answer this simple question:
In which French city is the Moulin Rouge?
