There is another opportunity to see the acclaimed Vienna Festival Ballet in the county later this month.
After gracing the stage at Welwyn Garden City’s Hawthorne Theatre, audiences have the opportunity to catch one of Tchaikovsky’s world famous classical ballets in Potters Bar.
The Vienna Festival Ballet company returns to the Wyllyotts Centre, off Darkes Lane, on Sunday, November 30 with two performances of The Nutcracker, at 2pm and 5pm.
The enchanting tale of The Nutcracker follows Clara and her nutcracker doll, which magically transforms into a princely soldier.
Their adventures see them combat the Mouse King and join the Sugar Plum Fairy on a wonderful trip to a kingdom made entirely of sweets.
The Vienna Festival Ballet’s The Nutcracker promises to be a delightful treat for ballet fans and interested observers alike.
The company was founded by celebrated Austrian dancer Peter Mallek in 1980 and is celebrating its 34th season.
Adult tickets for VFB’s Wyllyotts Theatre performances cost £17, and it is £13 for children.
