The sound of the West End comes to Welwyn Garden City

THE West End comes to a Welwyn Garden City theatre next month with The Masters of the House Sing The Musicals at Campus West.
YOU get a lot of shows these days featuring songs from the West End or Broadway – but the quality of the actual singers is not always up to the source.
Well, that’s not the case with The Masters of the House Sing The Musicals at the Hawthorne Theatre, in Welwyn Garden City, next month.
Featuring former stars of Les Miserables, Evita, Phantom Of The Opera and Spamalot among others, this is the real deal with performers who have strutted the West End stage for years and know their songs intimately.
With more than eight decades of popular entertainment to call on, the show never rests on its laurels, constantly adding new numbers and putting together wonderful medleys.
Of course, the favourites are there, too, including Climb Ev’ry Mountain from The Sound of Music, Defying Gravity from Wicked, Tell Me It’s Not True from Blood Brothers and more.
Coupled with an entertaining presentation, live musicians and a lot of panache, and you have a great evening’s entertainment. Accept no substitutes!
The Masters Of The House Sing The Musicals plays at the Hawthorne Theatre, Campus West, on Saturday, September 1 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £18.50, and £15.50 concessions.
