The Barn Fringe returns to Welwyn Garden City this week.

Now in its fifth fabulous year, the event runs from Wednesday, September 6 to Sunday, September 10.

The Barn Fringe kicks off another cracking season at the lovely old theatre in Handside Lane.

The 2017 line-up includes a comedy night featuring Stuart Goldsmith, Hannah Maxwell and Harry Harding, live music from the Red Stripe Band and Elvis Shmelvis, and another chance to see Red Handed.

Performances will take place in the studio and theatre’s main auditorium.

Artistic director Coral Walton is keen to welcome new audiences to the Barn.

She said: “Red Stripe Band and Elvis Shmelvis back by popular demand, an enhanced Red Handed, which sold out in the studio earlier this year, and a really exciting Comedy Night with newcomer Hannah Maxwell and featuring, straight from the Edinburgh Fringe, professional stand-up comedian Stuart Goldsmith, what a line up!”
