Get ready for a dance spectacular... Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has announced the final line-up of dance superstars for his upcoming UK tour, which comes to Welwyn Garden City in May.

Strictly dancer Giovanni Pernice brings his Il Ballo é Vita (Dance is Life) show to the Hawthorne Theatre on Sunday, May 7, at 3pm.

Giovanni will be partnered on stage by Luba Mushtuk, a dancer and choreographer on Strictly.

They will be joined by three professional couples – Giulia Dotta and Kai Widdrington, and Emily Barker and Curtis Pritchard (AJ Pritchard’s brother) from Dancing with the Stars Ireland, and Dianne Buswell and Robert Rowinski, who appeared on the Burn the Floor world tour.

Directed and choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing’s creative director Jason Gilkison, audiences can expect a spectacular show.

Dance is Life will feature dances including the Quickstep, Samba, Rhumba, Charleston, Argentine Tango and, of course, Giovanni’s signature, the Jive.

The production is not just another ‘Evening with…’ type dance show. It also features a wonderful storyline in the second half of the show.

Costumes for the show are being designed and created by Vicky Gill of DSI, the company that designs and makes the costumes each year for Strictly Come Dancing.

Giovanni joined the hit BBC show in 2015 and made the final in his first year with Georgia May Foote, before teaming up with Laura Whitmore in 2016.

Standard tickets for Dance is Life at the Hawthorne Theatre cost £28 and it is £26 concessions.

A limited number of Premium tickets are available priced £45.

The VIP Premium ticket includes a meet and greet with Giovanni Pernice after the show, signed print and photo opportunity, plus the best seats in the house.
