THERE’S a star-studded season of shows to warm you up on those chilly nights this autumn at the Hertford Theatre.

Former The Royle Family and Brookside star Sue Johnston and actress Stephanie Beacham make their debut visits to The Wash venue, telling the audiences about their lives, loves and careers.

If you enjoy a laugh, New Perspectives Theatre Company present their hilarious and wonderfully staged production Those Magnificent Men at the end of the month on September 30.

Family audiences will enjoy Stickman from The Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson, The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark, Bob the Builder and The Wizard of Oz.

Music fans are well and truly catered for with the return of the ever popular Mugenkyo Drummers later this week and The Counterfeit Stones.

Opera lovers are in for a treat with Tenorissimo – Three Tenors in Concert as well as a live satellite broadcast from The Royal Opera House’s production of Faust.

The final highlight of the season is the theatre’s annual panto, which this year is the classic tale of Aladdin. Tickets are being held at last year’s prices until September 30.

To book for any of the shows, call the box office on 01992 531500 or click on the Hertford Theatre website link above right.
