The Romaldi Trio will be appearing at the Friends Meeting House

MANDOLIN music through the ages can be heard at the Friends Meeting House in Welwyn Garden City on Sunday.

The Romaldi Trio will perform an eclectic mix of solos, duos and trios for mandolin, mandola and guitar.

The threesome – Roberto Garcia (mandolin/mandola/guitar), Ian Segui (mandolin/mandola) and Steve Smith (guitar) – will play works from all eras, by composers including Bach, Barrios, Beethoven, Carulli, Vivaldi and, of course, the composer after whom the trio is named – Nicola Romaldi.

Admission is free and the concert, which starts at 6pm, is in aid of the Friends of Danesbury and the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital.
