THE host of BBC quiz show Pointless will be live in concert in St Albans next week.

Fresh from ITV’s Your Face Sounds Familiar, Alexander Armstrong will be performing with his band at the Alban Arena on Tuesday at 7.30pm.

The acclaimed actor and comedian celebrates his love of music in this fantastic new show.

Armstrong and his versatile band will entertain fans with an evening of jazz standards, rock classics and pop favourites, from Louis Jordan to Cindy Lauper, and everything in between.

Best known as one half of BAFTA Award-winning comedy duo Armstrong and Miller, Armstrong’s set will feature a selection of handpicked songs, in brilliant new arrangements, and sung in his baritone voice.

Whether you are a fan of Armstrong’s comedy, TV game show Pointless, or a lover of music, this show is sure to provide the audience with an exceptional night of pure entertainment.

“I am so looking forward to heading out on the road with this extraordinary band of musicians, and to meeting the people who come along,” said Armstrong.

“I wonder if they’ll be Pointless fans, comedy fans or – strange to say – music fans. Certainly there’ll be something for everyone in the evening.”

Tickets cost £22.50. Call the Alban Arena box office on 01727 844488 or book online at www.alban-arena.co.uk
