Bah, humbug! If you are not in the festive spirit just yet, you had better pop along to the Barn Theatre for A Christmas Carol.

The theatre in Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City, is presenting an exciting new musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ well-loved tale of penny-pinching old miser Ebenezer Scrooge.

Dick Breeze takes on the role of Scrooge, the curmudgeonly old man who is visited by the ghosts of Past, Present and Future.

With a cavalcade of colourful Dickensian characters and a ghostly quartet of guardians, A Christmas Carol is the perfect way to get you into the Christmas spirit.

A Christmas Carol plays at the Barn Theatre from December 12 until Wednesday, December 31, with evening performances at 7.30pm and matinees at 2.30pm.
