Archant

MONTY Python had audiences in fits of laughter with The Lumberjack Song.

And a side-splitting trio of Canadian stand-up comedians – Craig Campbell, Stewart Francis and Glenn Wool – are coming to St Albans next week as The Lumberjacks.

They will bring their hilarious Edinburgh Festival 2012 show to the Alban Arena on Wednesday, May 29 at 8pm.

Fifteen years ago, the three fresh-faced young Canadian comics made their Edinburgh debut at the fledgling Stand Comedy Club.

A decade and a half later and they’ve grown into formidable performers with an enviable string of broadcast credits and live touring under their belts.

Between them, they have appeared on Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live At The Apollo, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand.

They have also toured solo across the UK, US, Scandinavia, Canada and Australia.

All three will perform new material as well as classic routines.

Tickets cost £16.
