EastEnders favourite Jake Wood battles for a place in the final of Strictly Come Dancing tonight (Saturday), with the five remaining couples all taking to the dance floor twice.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will present the show, with the stakes raised as each couple must perform not one but two routines in a bid to impress the judges.

The snake-hipped EastEnders star from Tewin, Hertfordshire, and dance partner Janette Manrara will perform a Viennese Waltz to When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge.

The couple’s other routine will be a Cha Cha to Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band.

Earlier in the week, Jake (@mrjakedwood) took to Twitter and tweeted: “Have just learnt 2 dances in 2 days. Think my brain has fried @JManrara”

Dance partner Janette (@JManrara) replied: “Now you can officially call yourself a dancer!”

Jake and Janette will be competing against Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev, Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton, Mark Wright and Karen Hauer, and Simon Webbe and Kristina Kristina Rihanoff in the live semi-final.

Judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli will be watching very closely before delivering their verdicts on each dance.

The voting lines will then open and the public must decide who they want to see in the Grand Final next weekend, and who will say goodbye at the last hurdle.

Here are the routines each pair will be performing, and the music that will be played live by the Dave Arch band.

Caroline and Pasha will be performing:

* The Salsa to Maria by Ricky Martin.

* The Foxtrot to Josef Salvat’s version of Diamonds

Frankie and Kevin will be performing:

* The Argentine Tango to The 5th by David Garrett.

* The Rumba to Lily Allen’s version of Somewhere Only We Know

Jake and Janette will be performing:

* The Viennese Waltz to When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge.

* The Cha Cha to Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band.

Mark and Karen will be performing:

* The Rumba to Eva Cassidy’s version of Fields of Gold.

* The Viennese Waltz to I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher.

Simon and Kristina will be performing:

* The Foxtrot to My Guy by Mary Wells.

* The Samba to I Like To Move It by Reel 2 Real.

* Strictly Come Dancing’s live semi-final can be seen on BCC One from 6.50pm until 8.25pm.

Strictly Come Dancing - Results Show is on BBC One on Sunday from 7.20pm to 8pm.
