Prosecco Festival returning to St Albans
Cheers! The corks will be popping when the ultimate festival for lovers of Prosecco returns to St Albans next month.
And, just for good measure, the event will also appeal to those that enjoy a glass or two of gin.
Due to overwhelming demand, the Prosecco Festival will return to The Alban Arena for sessions on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1.
The event will feature Prosecco, Cava and sparkling fizz stations along with a dedicated ‘Peroni Bar’ for those non fizz drinkers attending.
There will be more than 30 types of Prosecco, Spumante, Cava, Brut, Pink Fizz and even Prosecco cocktails on offer, while ticket holders will also be able to enjoy live on-stage entertainment.
New for 2019, the festival will feature a handpicked selection of gins from around the world.
For those wanting something to eat, there will be Italian street food available.
Tickets cost £12.50 per person, with the price including a free branded Prosecco flute and wristband.
All bars work on a token (no cash) system. Tokens can be purchased using cash or card from the token points at the venue.
Tokens are priced at £5 each and can be exchanged for any drink served in a glass including cocktails.
The evening session will take place between 6.30pm and 11pm on the Friday, followed by an afternoon session on the Saturday between 12.30pm until 5pm.
There will be a further evening session on the Saturday between 6.30pm and 11pm.
Live music will take place at all sessions.
