COMEDIAN Simon Brodkin brings his chavvy creation Lee Nelson to St Albans this week.
The acclaimed character comedian will be appearing at the Alban Arena with his quality new show on Friday at 7.30pm.
Strap yourself in for a night of unmissable entertainment with the irrepressible Nelson, who will be presenting his unique take on the world, with special guest appearances from Dr Bob, ‘footballer’ Jason Bent and others.
Brodkin’s character typically interacts with his audience, telling them about his life, asking them questions, then replying with responses that reflect his world view, his own ignorance or his own stereotypically anti-social attitudes.
Performing solo stand-up since 2004, Brodkin has also written for and appeared on the television shows Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder in 2009, Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show in 2010 and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People in 2013.
In character as Lee Nelson, he briefly stood as a candidate in the South Shields by-election.
Tickets cost £22.50. Call the Alban Arena box office on 01727 844488 or book online at www.alban-arena.co.uk
