A comedian who travelled to Hereford by mistake instead of Hertford has rearranged his show in the county town.

Rising star Seann Walsh had to cancel his stand-up appearance at Hertford Theatre in September after catching the train from London to Hereford.

At the time he tweeted: “HERTFORD! I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT TONIGHT’S SHOW IS CANCELLED DUE TO ME ARRIVING AT HEREFORD NEAR WALES. I AM SO SORRY. PLEASE FEEL...

“...FREE TO TWEET ME ABUSE!!!!! I WILL MAKE SURE I RESCHEDULE IF YOU DON’T HATE ME NOW!”

After taking another train to Newport, in south Wales – not Newport, Isle of Wight – Seann tweeted: “... I’d just like to apologise again to HerTford. Sorry”

The show will, hopefully, now take place on Saturday, March 7 at 8pm.

Tickets cost £14.
