FOR those that missed stand-up Dylan Moran at this year's innovative Laughs in the Park open-air comedy festival in St Albans alongside Eddie Izzard, fear not.
The sardonic Irishman will be back in the city next year for two dates at The Alban Arena.
With his languid style, Dylan is best known for his role as belligerent bookshop owner Bernard Black in surreal BAFTA-award winning Channel 4 sitcom Black Books, a series he co-wrote.
A Perrier Award-winning stand-up as well, Dylan also appeared in hit films Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy Run alongside Simon Pegg.
He will be at the Arena on June 10-11 as part of his 2011 nationwide Yeah Yeah tour. Tickets cost £23.
Tickets for Dylan’s 2009 tour sold out overnight, so it is advisable to book early.
* Dylan Moran is just one of the leading comics visiting the venue next year.
Mock the Week star Milton Jones brings his The Lion Whisperer show to St Albans on January 22.
Double act Punt and Dennis are at the Arena on Thursday, March 3 and moon-faced comedian Jimmy Carr arrives two days later with his Laughter Therapy show.
Ed Byrne and Lenny Henry will also visit the city centre venue in 2011.
