YOUNG Guns will be firing on all cylinders at the Forum’s Distort night next week as they return to Hatfield for another gig.

The upcoming Buckinghamshire alternative group – Gustav Wood (vocals), John Taylor (guitar), Fraser Taylor (guitar), Simon Mitchell (bass) and Ben Jolliffe (drums) – will be rocking the University of Hertfordshire on Tuesday.

Distort is the College Lane entertainment venue’s alternative night, featuring one room of alt rock, pop punk and indie and a second of drum and bass and dubstep.

Tuesday’s launch night will feature Young Guns, who also played in Hatfield earlier this year at the Slam Dunk Festival, and Francesqua in the alt room, while Rollz will be in the DnB arena.

Young Guns released their debut album All Our Kings Are Dead in July and played the Reading and Leeds Festival last month on the main stage on the same day as the likes of Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets and headliners Guns n’ Roses.

Following this week’s date, the Bucks five-piece will be back at the Forum in December, supporting St Albans post-hardcore favourites Enter Shikari at their now annual Christmas party.

Tickets for the Enter Shikari concert go on sale on October 1.
