THE countdown to the 2013 Eastern Electrics Festival at Knebworth Park has started, with organisers releasing an exclusive video from one of the headline acts.

There’s a varied selection of tickets for EE13.

* Weekend three-day camping tickets from £115, plus booking fees.

* Friday/Saturday two-day camping tickets from £80, plus booking fees.

* Saturday/Sunday two-day camping tickets from £70, plus booking fees.

* Friday day tickets (site access noon Friday to 6am Saturday) from £40.

Standard tickets £55.

* Saturday day tickets (site access noon Saturday to 6am Sunday) from £45.

Standard tickets £65.

* Sunday day tickets (site access noon to 10pm) start from £30.

Thousands of electronic music lovers will attend the three-day, two-night bash at the Hertfordshire stately home from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 4.

And with the underground house and techno party just over a month away, an exclusive video interview with one of the Eastern Electrics headliners has been released.

To kick off a series of profiles before the festival gates open, electronica supergroup Moderat discuss their long-awaited second album and live show Moderat II, with previews of two exclusive new tracks, Versions and This Time.

The adroit fusion of Modeselektor and Apparat, Moderat will release the follow on from their highly-acclaimed, self-titled album later this year.

And the Berlin production trio – Sascha Ring, also known as Apparat, and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary – will debut new material at Knebworth, with a special world premiere performance at Eastern Electrics to coincide with the Moderat II’s release date.
