English electronic maestro Sub Focus will be appearing in Hatfield next week – and you could win tickets to the show thanks to The Forum Hertfordshire and the Welwyn Hatfield Times.

The critically acclaimed artist will be getting the crowd going at The Forum Hertfordshire on Thursday as part of the Hatfield venue’s monthly dubstep/drum & bass club night Distort club.

And the Welwyn Hatfield Times has two pairs of tickets to the show to win.

Initially known for air-punching, dance floor dismantling drum and bass, Sub Focus – real name Nick Douwma – has now become synonymous with music that draws from all corners of the electronic landscape.

London born and bred, Sub Focus’ tracks were first signed to D&B’s biggest label, Ram Records in 2003, where they were soon being rotated by every major DJ in the scene, garnering airplay on mainstream radio, and drawing fans from around the globe.

He released his debut album in 2009, with the first single Rock It making it into the top 40, and has recently continued his chart success with new album, Torus, released in September 2013.

He has taken his music all over the world and toured with the likes of Pendulum, with festival shows including Glastonbury and headlining the Radio 1 Dance Stage at Reading and Leeds last year.

Tickets for the Distort night cost £10 in advance, but the Welwyn Hatfield Times has two pairs of tickets to win in another Forum competition.
