Folk music fans will have generated more than £10,000 for Welwyn Garden City-based Willow once all ticket sales and donations have been added up.

FBTO organisers donate 50p from every ticket sold to the charity and Willow also had a pop-up shop at the festival.

Hannah Gray, Willow’s head of community fundraising and volunteering, said: “What a pleasure to celebrate Folk by the Oak’s 10th anniversary by raising a record-breaking £10,000 for Willow at this spectacular event.

“This brings the total raised to more than £63,000 since the event began – a remarkable amount that has helped so many seriously ill young adults in Hertfordshire and across the UK.

“This year saw the first ever pop-up Willow Charity Shop, which was a runaway success with the festival-goers.

“Enormous thanks to Folk by the Oak for their support to Willow over the years and, as always, our volunteers were amazing and their dedication and love for Special Days shone through to all they met.”
