A successful Welwyn Hatfield choir is looking for budding new singers.

Hertfordshire Chorus must be one of the busiest choirs around, with a mix of new commissions and traditional classical works performed in all the leading venues.

The choir is looking to recruit a number of new members as it enters the new season with a programme that includes Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Philip Glass’ Songs from Liquid Days and Bach’s St John Passion.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School in Woods Avenue.

There are also two open rehearsals at the Hatfield school on Wednesday, September 17 and Wednesday, October 8, when prospective singers can come along and try it out.
