The Hatfield-based uni’s end-of-term party has been moved to the grounds of Hatfield House this year.

It will take place on Friday, May 16 from 7pm until 2am, followed by an after-show party back at The Forum Hertfordshire, in College Lane.

There will be the usual array of live music, DJs, fun fair and other entertainment on offer.

A status update on the Forum’s Facebook page today (Monday) revealed there will be a headliner announcement this evening at 7pm.

The 2014 Summer Ball will be held in the Stable Yard complex at Hatfield House, with a large outdoor stage on the grass in front of the main house.

Explaining why the annual event has been switched to the Hertfordshire stately home this year, organisers said: “After talking to a lot of students we felt that you wanted something which was really different and special, this is why we decided to move to the prestigious venue of Hatfield House.

“We will still be offering a great line-up of DJs, activities and performers but with that extra spark of being at a stunning venue.”

Tickets for the 18 plus University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball 2014 are on sale now priced £35.
