HERTFORDSHIRE’S favourite country-rockin’ sons return to The Farmers Boy in St Albans this evening (Sunday).

The Trailer Trash Orchestra will be playing the London Road pub tonight.

The group’s last album was described by country bible Maverick magazine as “refined, extraordinary music by a band oozing style”.

The band have performed at major festivals, both in the UK and abroad, including Bestival and Glastonbury, and are currently in the midst of recording their new album.

Tracks from the album were previewed on their live Resonance FM appearance earlier in the year.

Alongside their caustic bar-room originals, the band perform interpretations of classic country tunes and countrified alternative rockers.

The band’s version of The Cramps’ All Women Are Bad has had over 3,500 hits on YouTube.

The gig starts at 8.30pm and admission is free.
