Chrome Molly will be playing live at The Rock Den at Breaks Manor in Hatfield this weekend, with a member of Toseland joining them as special guest.
The heavy rockers will be appearing at the Link Drive music venue on Saturday night, along with support from Black Whiskey and Thrones, with all three making their Rock Den debuts.
And Chrome Molly will be joined by special guest Ed Bramford, who normally plays guitar for James Toseland’s band.
Earlier in the week, Chrome Molly (@ChromeMolly) tweeted: “Awesome rehearsal last night. A treat for you on Saturday at @TheRockDen #twinguitars #toseland @BWhiskey69 @OfficialThrones”
Taking to Twitter, Rock Den promoter Dean Archer (@TheRockDen) tweeted ahead of the Halloween gig: “You’re in for a TREET this Sat @TheRockDen as for the FIRST Time ever @ChromeMolly will feature TWO Guitarists”
He later tweeted: “Ed Bramford from Toseland to play @TheRockDen with @ChromeMolly Sat 25th Oct”
Dean also tweeted: “If you like the band Toseland then get down to @TheRockDen as Guitarist Ed Bramford will be playing with @ChromeMolly this Sat”
Chrome Molly were formed in 1981 but split up 10 years later.
The group reformed in 2009, with early line-up members Steve Hawkins, guitarist John Antcliffe and bass guitarist Nick Wastell joined by Greg Ellis.
They released latest album Gunpowder Diplomacy last year.
A statement on the band’s website read: “Due to John not being able to make the show due to personal reasons, the band are joined by Ed Bramford (Toseland/Arms of Atlas) and Sam Flint (Arms of Atlas) fulfilling guitar duties.
“Adding a second guitar is an exciting update to the sound.”
Doors open at 7pm, with the first band on stage at 7.30pm. The concert ends at 11pm.
Tickets cost £8 in advance and £10 on the door.
