The first line-up announcement for a Hertfordshire music festival will be made at a special Christmas party being held next month.
Organisers of Standon Calling are putting on some festive fun and frolics at The Lexington in London on Wednesday, December 13.
Headed up by the team behind the acclaimed festival itself, the party pulls together live performances from the likes of South London favourite Jodie Abacus, The Modern Strangers and Average Sex, along with DJs Feeling Gloomy playing late into the night.
The first headliner for Standon Calling 2018 will also be revealed during the party.
Standon Calling 2018 will take place in the grounds of Standon Lordship from July 26 to July 29.
Early bird and Tier 1 tickets have already sold out, and there are already a limited number of Tier 2 weekend adult tickets priced £127 available.
This year’s festival near Stevenage was headlined by Orbital, Clean Bandit and Grace Jones.
So after a landmark year in the stunning Hertfordshire countryside, festival founder Alex Trenchard and the Standon Calling team are rounding out the year with a true festive-blowout.
Promising a night of undeniable entertainment, it’s a tinsel-tastic extravaganza from start to finish.
Take a roll of the dice with Lost Property Lucky Dip, enjoy acclaimed new music with sets from new-soul sensation Jodie Abacus, strutting indie-party movers The Modern Strangers and indie-pop favourites Average Sex, and turn those frowns upside down with Feeling Gloomy spinning euphoric melancholic bangers late into the night.
The Standon Calling Christmas Party will also offer ticket holders an exclusive first look at Standon Calling 2018, revealing the first star-studded headliner on the night.
Tickets are £12, available from the link https://standon-calling.com/join-us-christmas/ with a donation being made on each ticket sold to Standon Calling’s charity partner, War Child UK.
