Organisers of a popular Hertfordshire music festival will reveal more of the bumper 2015 line-up this week.

Having already announced Grammy-nominated dance duo Basement Jaxx as its first headliners, Standon Calling 2015 promoters are set to confirm more acts playing the three-day bash in the Hertfordshire countryside over the weekend of Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2.

An update of the Standon website stated: “Our next line up announcement will be made on Wednesday, 11th February!”

With the summer showcase celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, festival founder Alex Trenchard is determined to mark the occasion in style with Standon’s best party yet.

He describes the mighty Basement Jaxx as “a benchmark” of things to come.

Last year’s event at Standon Lordship, near Ware, featured performances from Public Enemy, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, and double Grammy-nominated pop star Charli XCX.

As well as live music and late-night DJs, Standon Calling features a heated swimming pool, a nightclub in a cowshed, an annual dog show, interactive art installations and much more.
