Bullet For My Valentine added to Slam Dunk Festival 2019 line-up for Hatfield

Another 11 bands have been added to the Slam Dunk Festival 2019 line-up set for Hatfield including Bullet For My Valentine.
Organisers of the touring pop-punk, ska punk, metal and alternative rock festival have confirmed the second wave of acts appearing at Leeds and Hatfield next May.
The festival’s second line-up announcement includes Welsh metal titans Bullet For My Valentine, hardcore heroes Glassjaw, Turnstile, The Menzingers, Knocked Loose, Simple Plan and Saves The Day.
Slam Dunk Festival North 2019 will take place at new Leeds venue Temple Newsam Park on Saturday, May 25.
The festival will then head south to the grounds of Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.
Slam Dunk Festival South 2019 will return to Hatfield Park on Sunday, May 26.
Latest additions Bullet For My Valentine, Glassjaw, Simple Plan, The Menzingers, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Turnstile, Knocked Loose, The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, and Tiny Moving Parts will all make their Slam Dunk Festival debuts in 2019.
Trophy Eyes will return to show them how it’s done in Leeds and Hatfield over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.
They join previously announced headliners All Time Low, with NOFX, New Found Glory and Gallows also on the bill.
One of the biggest British metal acts in history, Bullet For My Valentine will play Slam Dunk having headlined London’s Alexandra Palace earlier this month.
BFMV – Matt Tuck and co – will headline one of Slam Dunk’s iconic stages in 2019.
Another Slam Dunk debut performance will come from Glassjaw following their headline performance at London’s Brixton Academy.
Joining them at Slam Dunk 2019 will be mid-90s emo royalty The Get Up Kids and Saves The Day, travelling from Missouri and New Jersey respectively.
Chris Conley, lead vocalist of Saves The Day, said: “We are so excited to play Slam Dunk next year!
“It’s always a blast to come overseas and sing Saves songs with all our fans. See you soon.”
The only band from the second SDF19 line-up announcement to have played Slam Dunk Festival before, Aussie punk troupe Trophy Eyes will be returning following their landmark performance in 2017.
