Final artists announced for Slam Dunk Festival 2019
Festival organisers have confirmed the final bands playing Slam Dunk 2019 in Hatfield with Neck Deep among the latest acts announced.
Slam Dunk 2019 will see the return of Neck Deep to the pop-punk, ska punk, metal and alternative rock festival taking place in the grounds of Hatfield House on Sunday, May 26.
After launching album The Peace and The Panic at the festival in 2017, the Welsh band will be finishing their mammoth two-year world tour back where it all started.
Festival promoters said: “This will be your final chance to see them before they go off to start work on the next album.”
Although having played the music festival before, this will be Neck Deep’s first time at Slam Dunk South’s new outdoor venue in Hatfield Park.
Also joining them will be current heroes of the UK scene As It Is and Boston Manor.
Even more pop-punk comes from A Loss For Words, and two of Hopeless Records’ new artists, Story Untold and Between You & Me.
SHVPES, The Plot in You, Kublai Khan and Cruel Hand will join an already stacked heavy line-up for 2019.
Grandson and Press to MECO have also been added to the line-up.
The festival’s acoustic artists for the weekend have also been announced.
Slam Dunk will feature a debut solo performance of Motion City Soundtrack’s Justin Courtney Pierre alongside old SDF friends Rob Lynch, Liam Patrick Cromby and Chas Palmer-Williams, plus the return of Lizzy Farrall.
Despite saying it was the final artist announcement, Slam Dunk organisers added: “And that’s all folks... although we may have a few surprises left up our sleeves.”
All Time Low will headline the main stage at the festival, with the line-up also including Bullet For My Valentine, NOFX, New Found Glory, Less Than Jake, Glassjaw and Bad Religion.
As well as Hatfield, Slam Dunk North will take place in Temple Newsam Park in Leeds on Saturday, May 25.
