The second Slam Dunk Festival 2018 line-up announcement will be made on Sunday night – with a second headliner revealed live on BBC Radio 1.

The touring pop punk, ska punk, metal and alternative rock festival returns to Hatfield next year on Sunday, May 27.

Having already announced Jimmy Eat World as headliners, organisers are set to confirm a second headliner amongst the second wave of bands for next year’s festival.

The latest acts joining the bill will be revealed on Daniel P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show on Sunday night.

Slam Dunk Festival tweeted: “NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT: This Sunday night, live on the @Radio1RockShow with @DanielPCarter we will be announcing our next wave of bands for #SDF18 including... ANOTHER HEADLINER! Tune in from 7pm, Sunday!”

Slam Dunk South will take place at a new Hatfield location in 2018.

The festival will move from the University of Hertfordshire’s College Lane Campus and Forum Hertfordshire to Hatfield Park.

As well as taking over the grounds of Hatfield House on Sunday, May 27, the festival will also visit Leeds and Birmingham over the same late May Bank Holiday weekend.
