The Hatfield leg of this year’s Slam Dunk Festival 2017 has sold out.
The touring pop punk, ska punk, metal and alternative rock festival returns to the University of Hertfordshire on Bank Holiday Monday, May 29.
St Albans band Enter Shikari will headline this year’s Slam Dunk extravaganza with a set celebrating 10 years since the release of their debut album Take To The Skies.
And tickets for Slam Dunk South at The Forum Hertfordshire and the surrounding university campus in College Lane, Hatfield, have all gone.
The closing Hatfield leg of the Spring May Bank Holiday weekend event follows Slam Dunk Midlands in Birmingham on Saturday, May 27 and Slam Dunk North in Leeds city centre on Sunday, May 28.
The festival posted on its official Facebook page yesterday (Sunday): “Important info, please share!
“We are pleased to confirm that SLAM DUNK FESTIVAL SOUTH in Hatfield has now completely SOLD OUT!
“North will be next, last year it sold out just over 2 weeks after South.
“For those of you in the South that missed out on tickets, we strongly recommend you look into going to the Midlands event.
“The large NEC site, with its onsite train station, airport, great road links and loads of parking is easily accessible from anywhere!”
The next band line-up announcement will take place on Wednesday, March 15.
