SETH Lakeman will be playing live in St Albans this weekend.

HE has twice headlined the popular Folk by the Oak festival at Hatfield House.

And he’s returning to Hertfordshire later this week for a live concert date.

Folk-inspired Seth Lakeman will be playing the Alban Arena, in St Albans, on Saturday at 7.30pm.

The multi award-winning singer-songwriter will be joined by his hugely talented band, plus special guest Lisbee Stainton, and supported by Winter Mountain.

Seth has released six albums, including 2005’s Mercury-nominated Kitty Jay through to his latest album, Tales from the Barrel House.

His latest release confirmed his innate knack for writing both foot-stomping, sing-along songs and more tender, thoughtful ballads.

Seth’s fiddle and tenor guitar playing is often breathtaking and his trademark, soaring vocals are at the forefront of the album.

Seth and the band will be playing tracks from all his previous studio albums plus a few new songs from his forthcoming album Word Of Mouth, which is due for release in the New Year.

* Tickets cost £19.50 in advance and £22 on the door.
