The Rock Den, at Breaks Manor, will host the mighty Scopyons on Saturday, October 26.

As the name would suggest, the copyists from the North West are a tribute band to German heavy metallers the Scorpions, who are best known for hit single Wind of Change.

They were founded in 2011 by Nige Roberts, better known to some as the lead vocalist for reformed Liverpool NWOBHM rockers Marseille, who toured the UK extensively back in the late 70s with Judas Priest, Whitesnake, UFO, Gillan and Nazareth.

Nige had some down time after the relaunch of Marseille and he turned to fellow musicians Daz Green, Barry Lowe, Paul Anderson and Phil Gavin to put together a definitive UK Scorpions tribute.

The spooktacular Rock Den festivities will have a fancy dress code and the evening will kick off with local band Sonic Scream.

Doors open at 7pm. Tickets cost £7.50 in advance and £10 on the door. They are available from
