THE chart-topping group behind the annoyingly catchy number one single Bom Bom will be entertaining club-goers in Hatfield this week.

Sam and the Womp will be performing live at the Forum Hertfordshire on Friday as part of the Flirt! club night.

Consisting of de facto band leader and chief rabble-rouser Sam, who punches out the horn riffs, the sultry vocals and feline moves of vocalist Lady Oo and the enigmatic musical alchemist Aaron Audio, the trio have created quite a stir since forming in 2009.

They have previously played the likes of festivals Bestival, Big Chill, Glastonbury and Lovebox, gaining famous fans such as Rizzle Kicks and Example.

They also achieved substantial airplay with their party anthem Bom Bom – a potent cocktail of ska, dubstep and brass ‘n’ bass.

Embrace the bass at the Forum on Friday. Tickets cost £6 plus booking fee.
