MILES Hunt is starting to become a familiar face at The Green Room.

The Wonder Stuff frontman returns on Thursday, February 28, and this time he is accompanied by fellow band member Erica Nockalls.

The Wonder Stuff, whose hits include Welcome To The Cheap Seats, Size Of A Cow and the 1991 collaboration with Vic Reeves, Dizzy, officially split in 1994.

Erica, a classically-trained violinist, joined the reformed band in 2005 and has been touring with Miles pretty much ever since.

Expect to hear tracks from their latest release, Not An Exit, nestled alongside hits from The Wonder Stuff's extensive back catalogue.

Miles said: "Touring over the last two years, it's been great to see old faces in the crowd, but now we have two new generations there as well.

"Those who were teens in the last years of The Wonder Stuff, and maybe never got to see us live, are there alongside the kids of fans who were there from the beginning."

In recent years, Miles has branched out into fresh songwriting territory. He co-wrote and voiced the theme tune for CBeebies show Underground Ernie.

He said, "I've always tried new things. It's great to do something like that. I approached it in much the same way as with The Wonder Stuff."

Support at The Green Room, WGC comes from psychobilly punksters Killing Seymour who will play an acoustic set.

Tickets are on sale now from City Sounds, WGC, priced £5. Doors open at 8pm.
