THE running order for Rhythms of the World 2012 has been confirmed by organisers of the annual Hertfordshire music festival.

The hugely popular world music festival returns to Hitchin Priory on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15, with gates opening both days at 11am.

The music starts from noon and last until 11pm.

Among the Sunday highlights are Mercury Music Prize winner Speech Debelle on the main stage and hotly-tipped Don Broco and local heroes My Passion on the BBC Introducing Stage.

Jamaican reggae star Little Roy replaces fellow countryman and Police and Thieves singer Junior Murvin, who has broken his leg.

Tickets for the Hitchin festival cost £10 per day for adults, £5 for youths (aged six to 17), and it is free for five and unders.
