ARE you a solo musician or member of a band? Would you like to play to a crowd of thousands? Would you like to see your name on the bill of a music festival?

If the answer to all of the above is yes, then The Green Room want to hear from you.

The venue is hosting the qualifying rounds for this year's Codifest.

Doctor's Tonic manager Bill Menzies said, "We are looking for up-and-coming young bands. This will be a chance for them to showcase their work to Codifest organisers."

The one-day festival takes place on July 26 at Codicote.

Confirmed already for this year are Purple Melon, Funky Dory, Roadrunner, The Coalhouse Walker Blues Band and The Ruby Shoes.

If you would like appear in a heat at The Green Room leave your details at City Sounds, WGC or The Doctors Tonic. The first gig is scheduled for early March.
