STYLISH electro innovators Late Of The Pier are the latest pretenders to the nu-rave throne.

New single The Bears Are Coming has received plenty of national airplay and is released on March 3.

You can try before you buy at The Hertford Marquee where the band's first headline tour stops off on February 29.

The four-man band, who hail from Castle Donnington, have risen from the heady heights of recording in their bedroom via the under-age gig circuit to where they are today.

They opened the Carling Weekend Festival in Leeds last August and played the first ever unde-rage festival in the same month.

Last week they featured on Radio One's new music showcase show, BBC Introducing, playing live from Maida Vale.

Late Of The Pier are Samuel Dust (vocals, guitar), Jack Paradise (drums, percussion), Francis Dudley Dance (bass), Red Dog Consuela (synths, sampler).

They release their debut album later this year.

Tickets for the Marquee are £6. Doors open at 7.30pm.
