Pianist Nikki Iles and saxophonist Nadim Teimoori will join forces at Herts Jazz Club on Sunday night.

Herts Jazz supremo Clark Tracey has thrown together some of his favourite musicians for Sunday’s concert to see what happens.

Piano and tenor sax stars Nikki and Nadim will be joined by Adam King on bass and Clark Tracey on drums.

This year’s winner of Best Piano in the British Jazz Awards, Nikki made a great impression in duet with Stan Sulzmann at the Herts Jazz Festival in WGC last year.

A Herts Jazz spokesman said: “Nadim has appeared at Herts Jazz on several occasions and knocked us out every time.

“Great that Adam is available too, a consummate bassist and gifted musician.”

Advance tickets for the gig in Screen 2 of the Garden City Cinema at CW Entertainment cost £5 students, £10 members, £12 concessions and £13 full.

Walk-ups are £7 students, £11 members, £14 concessions and £15 full.

The concert starts at 7.30pm.
