Organisers at Newmarket Racecourses have announced that to celebrate the start of their live events this season, children will be able to see their favourite artists for free when accompanied by a paying adult at the family-friendly Summer Saturday Live open air concerts.

The Summer Saturday Live events bookend the outdoor music season at Newmarket Racecourses, with global superstar Demi Lovato kicking proceedings off on Saturday, June 9 for her first ever UK racecourse show.

The Vamps will finish the season with a bang on Saturday, August 25.

Amy Starkey, Regional Director East of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “We are delighted to be able to add another Summer Saturday Live event to our racing and live music roster and hope that by offering free children’s tickets it will mean that more families will have the opportunity to come and enjoy a fabulous day of racing and entertainment this summer.”

Taking place during the afternoon and featuring a six-race card prior to fantastic headline performances, Summer Saturday Live is a perfect day out for all of the family.

Customers are able to secure their free child tickets when purchasing an adult ticket via

This applies to ages five to 15 when purchasing a full price adult ticket. The offer is for a maximum of two children per adult of 18 and over.

Previously purchased child tickets will be eligible for a refund, while children aged four and under are entitled to free admission.

Gates will open around noon, with the headline artist on stage at approximately 6pm.
