TWO Welwyn Hatfield bands have joined forces in the hope of getting a good guitar night going in Welwyn Garden City.

Supersonic presents Mod/indie covers band The Revivals and Millionairo together in The Green Room at The Doctors Tonic pub on Saturday night.

Millionairo are a four-piece rock ‘n’ roll band playing original songs.

James Sweet (vocals), Steve Pick (guitar), Nick Shirfield (bass) and Steve Howard (drums) have been together for three years and the WGC gig is to promote their upcoming EP, due to be recorded at the end of the month.

“We have been playing gigs as far afield as Salisbury this year to promote our last set of recordings, the Permit To Rave EP, which is available by contacting us at our website www.millionairo.co.uk,” said James.

Headlining the Doctors Tonic show will be friends The Revivals, who deliver a set of classics ranging from Kasabian to The Small Faces.

The bands will be supported throughout the evening at the Church Road pub with DJ sets by James from Millionairo playing classic indie, Britpop, Northern Soul and 60s R&B.
