BANISH those post-Christmas blues and get in the mood for Valentine's Day by attending a concert full of music from the romantic genre.

WGC Orchestra and Chorus will present a double bill of music and songs at the concert held at St Francis Church, Parkway on January 26 at 7.30pm.

Work will include Dvorak's Sixth Symphony, Schubert's Overture to the play Rosamunde, and Edward Elgar to name a few.

The orchestra, led by Christos Kokkinos, will be under the baton of music director and regular conductor James Ross.

Neil Bell, who has a long experience of encouraging music in the educational field, will conduct the choir.

Tickets are £10; £8 for concessions and in advance only. Students and 12 to 18-year-olds £5. Under 12s get in for free.
