Jools Holland brings his acclaimed Rhythm and Blues Orchestra back to Hertfordshire later this year as part of his 2018 autumn/winter tour.

The king of boogie-woogie will be appearing at Watford Colosseum on Friday, November 9 with special guest Marc Almond.

Tickets for the concert go on general sale on Friday, February 2 at 10am.

Musical master of ceremonies Jools Holland and his acclaimed Rhythm & Blues Orchestra have announced their annual musical excursion around the UK and Ireland for 2018.

Soft Cell frontman Marc Almond will be accompanying former Squeeze star Jools for the UK tour as a special guest.

In his 36-year career, Marc has sold over 30 million records worldwide, with his list of hit songs including Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, Torch and, of course, number one hit Tainted Love.

He has also collaborated with the likes of Gene Pitney on number one hit Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart, Tony Visconti and Burt Bacharach, as well as Jools, who Marc previously toured with in 2014.

Marc was awarded an OBE this year for his services to arts and culture.

Also performing with Jools will be the supremely talented vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, as well as original Squeeze member Gilson Lavis on drums with the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

• Tickets for Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra at Watford Colosseum on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 7.30pm cost £45 each.
