The rapper-turned-singer will appear at the Forum Hertfordshire on Tuesday, October 16.

Promoted by Kilimanjaro Live, it will be Example’s final UK show before Christmas.

Pre-sale tickets for the Hatfield concert are on sale now costing £18, plus booking fees.

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow (Wednesday).

A status update this evening (Tuesday) on the Forum’s Facebook page says: “Tickets are expected to sell fast when on full sale from tomorrow.”

Example is no stranger to the University of Hertfordshire’s entertainment complex, having appeared live at the College Lane venue last year as part of the BBC Radio 1 Student Tour.

He wowed Hatfield university students with a special Live Lounge performance on DJ Fearne Cotton’s morning show and his live set that evening was broadcast on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 programme.

Example also made a guest appearance at the Forum earlier this year when former university student Flux Pavilion played a gig there. Example lent vocals to the drum and bass DJ/producer’s single Daydreamer.

Real name Elliot Gleave, Example enjoyed UK number one hits last year with singles Changed The Way You Kissed Me and Stay Awake from chart-topping album Playing in the Shadows.

His other big hits include Watch the Sun Come Up, Won’t Go Quietly and Kickstarts.

Having played the main stage at Chelmsford’s V Festival in August, Example is currently number two in the charts with new single Stay Nothing, taken from his upcoming fourth studio album The Evolution of Man.
